Our process
A structured, five-stage engagement model
From first conversation to ongoing improvement, our process is designed to keep both sides aligned at every stage. Timing varies by project scope and how ready content, decisions and access are at each step — but the structure stays consistent.

Stage 1
Discover
We build a shared understanding of the business, its goals, its audience and where the current digital presence is helping or holding it back.
What to expect
- A structured conversation about business goals, current challenges and what success would look like.
- A review of existing assets: website, brand materials, past marketing, analytics if available.
- An honest assessment of what's working, what isn't, and what's genuinely worth prioritizing.
What we need from you
- Access to existing accounts, analytics and materials relevant to the project.
- Time from the people who understand the business and its customers best.
- Candor about past efforts that didn't work, and why, where known.
Typical outputs
- A discovery summary capturing goals, constraints and current state.
- A short list of priorities the engagement will be built around.
Stage 2
Plan
Discovery findings turn into a concrete plan: scope, structure, sequencing and the specific disciplines needed to reach the stated goals.
What to expect
- A proposed scope and structure tailored to the goals identified in discovery, not a generic package.
- Clear sequencing of what happens first, second and later, with reasoning behind the order.
- An honest conversation about timeline ranges and what affects them.
What we need from you
- Feedback on the proposed plan, including where it doesn't yet reflect reality.
- Decisions on scope, budget and priority where trade-offs exist.
- Sign-off before work moves into active creation.
Typical outputs
- A defined project scope and stage-by-stage plan.
- Sitemap, content plan, or campaign structure as relevant to the engagement.
Stage 3
Create
This is where design, content, development and campaign assets actually get built, with regular checkpoints rather than a single end-of-project reveal.
What to expect
- Work delivered in stages with opportunities to review and give feedback along the way.
- Clear explanations of the reasoning behind design, content and technical decisions.
- Realistic handling of revisions within the agreed scope.
What we need from you
- Timely feedback at each review point to keep the schedule on track.
- Final content, imagery or approvals that depend on the client's own team or resources.
- A single point of contact empowered to approve decisions, where possible.
Typical outputs
- Working drafts of pages, creative assets or campaign materials at each checkpoint.
- A near-final version ready for pre-launch review and testing.
Stage 4
Launch
Before anything goes live, we work through technical, content and measurement readiness so the launch itself is uneventful.
What to expect
- A structured pre-launch review covering content accuracy, technical function, accessibility and measurement setup.
- A clear go-live plan, including what happens if something needs to be rolled back.
- Confirmation that the client retains ownership and access to key accounts.
What we need from you
- Final approvals on content and functionality before go-live.
- Availability during the launch window in case anything needs quick attention.
- Confirmation of domain, hosting or account access needed to complete the launch.
Typical outputs
- A live, tested website or campaign, with analytics and tracking confirmed as functioning.
- Documentation of what was launched and how to access and maintain it.
Stage 5
Grow
Launch is a starting point. Ongoing work is guided by real performance data, not assumptions about what should be working.
What to expect
- Regular review of what the data actually shows: traffic, conversions, engagement, or whatever metrics matter most to the goals set in discovery.
- Recommendations grounded in that data rather than generic best practices.
- Honest reporting, including when something isn't performing as hoped and what we'd try instead.
What we need from you
- Ongoing feedback from the business side about what's actually happening with leads, sales or engagement.
- A willingness to test and adjust rather than expecting a single fixed setup to work forever.
Typical outputs
- Periodic performance reviews and a running list of prioritized improvements.
- Iterative updates to content, pages or campaigns based on real results.
A note on timing
Every engagement moves at a different pace. Timing depends on the scope of the work, how quickly decisions and content come together on the client side, and how many disciplines are involved. We give realistic ranges during planning rather than fixed promises, and we keep clients updated if circumstances shift the timeline in either direction.
